No downloadable media found
This message means something different from an unsupported link: your address was recognised and sent for processing, but no public video could be found at it.
Why this is not the same as an unsupported link
An unsupported link is rejected instantly because the address itself was not recognised. This message is the opposite: the address was fine, we asked the platform for the media, and nothing downloadable came back. So the problem is with what is at the link, not the link’s shape.
What usually causes it
The post has no video
Image posts, text posts, polls and link posts all produce valid addresses with nothing to download. Reddit and Instagram galleries can also be entirely photos.
The video was deleted or the account removed
The URL keeps working as an address long after the media is gone.
The post is private, restricted, or age-gated
If viewing it needs a login or an age confirmation, we cannot reach it — we only handle public media.
It is region-locked
Some videos are unavailable from the location our server requests them from, even though they play for you.
The video is embedded from somewhere else
A post can display a video that is actually hosted on another service; there is nothing native to fetch.
It is a live stream still in progress
A stream that has not ended yet has no finished file to hand over.
How to confirm which one it is
Next steps
Try the direct post link again from the downloader, or check the link formats we accept. If the video is genuinely public and still comes back empty, send us the link. As always, only download content you own or have permission to save.
